Tea with Papillon

Would you like to join a free 90-minute Zoom session on a fundraising related topic?

Tea with Papillon is generally on one Thursday a month at 12:00 noon (dates are arranged for three months at a time).

Topics covered are both identified by the Papillon team and in response to requests from attendees. Sessions include:

    • Interesting presentations
    • Panel discussions
    • Interviews with key NPO role-players, thought leaders and more

Focused on topics relevant to those whose roles include resourcing South African non-profits, tertiary institutions, schools, and faith-based organisations, Tea with Papillon is a no-charge online event to assist and support the people whose jobs (paid or voluntary) are so vital to the survival of their organisations but also tough and often lonely.

Sessions:

Donors’ ongoing lament (aside from there being too many NPOs in the country) is that organisations don’t co-operate enough. Organisations are in competition for donated money, but there is substantially more to gain by seeking partnerships and opportunities to co-operate with others.

Join Jill Ritchie for a free 90-minute online discussion on successful examples, opportunities and ideas on NPO co-operation.

No topic stirs up emotions in the world of NPO resourcing like fundraisers earning a commission! There are strong arguments for and against. There is a legal aspect too. Join Jill Ritchie for a free 90-minute discussion on this complex topic.

As fundraising in the UK for NPOs, universities, schools and faith-based entities is different to doing so from any other country, it can be confusing. Jill Ritchie has worked in fundraising for over 35 years and has spent the last 20 focused on raising money from UK donors for southern African organisations. Join Jill for a free 90-minute online discussion on the oft confusing but worthwhile issue as the UK remains the largest foreign source of money for SA non-profits.

Time: 12:00 - 13:30

Deadline: 7 June 2024
Strictly no bookings after this date.
