FAQs: Our Services

Q: What commission do you take?
A: We have never worked on any form of commission in over 30 years and never would.

Q: Why are your fees not on your website?
A: These are individually quoted on once we have fully understood the needs of each client.

Q: Why won’t you undertake to sell the tickets to events that you arrange in London?
A: We have an extensive mailing list of event goers and actively promote events on social media to boost ticket sales. However, we cannot guarantee to sell tickets mainly as not all clients plan events with a strong enough ‘draw card’ – 85% of event attendees buy tickets because of the entertainer or speaker and not simply to support a good cause.

Q: What do you charge to set up meetings in the UK for us with potential donors?
A: We do not offer this service. It is important to note that UK donor trusts generally do not want to meet with potential beneficiaries. They do not want to advantage organisations globally that are able to bear the costs of sending someone to the UK over others that cannot afford this. Also, they are very careful with their own costs/expenditure and don’t have the staff available to have meetings. They expect all applicants to apply in their specified manner: letter of enquiry, proposal or form.

Q: Do you offer a service of assisting SA organisations to comply with American donors’ requirements for tax receipts?
A: No, we don’t offer this service. American donors expect tax rebates in terms of their IRS regulation 501 (c ) (3). It is prohibitively expensive to set up an organisation in the USA to arrange such rebates. Also, the compliance and maintenance of such entities are extensive. Two options are recommended to assist in the issuing of tax receipts to American donors:

Q: Are you able to assist or advise as to how we can give a donor in Germany a tax rebate? We have Section 18A in SA and have a UK office.
A: No, sorry. The only way that a German donor (or one in any European country) can receive a tax rebate is by your organisation having its own entity registered in that country. You could investigate the possibility of such donations being paid via another organisation, for a fee. Regret, this is not something that we can assist with.
