She has also published 26 books including many guides to fundraising and is a regular contributor to leading South African and international magazines. She combines her writing skills, background in commerce and public relations and extensive experience in the non-profit sector to advise organisations on innovative, creative and proactive methods of expanding the donor base and securing ongoing funding.

Jill was amongst the first fundraisers in South Africa to join the Southern Africa Institute of Fundraising (SAIF) and served as its Vice President for 5 years.

She holds the London City & Guilds International Diploma in Teaching and Training.

Jill is qualified as a fundraising trainer and was the first person in South Africa to be certified by SAQA as an assessor of fundraising training.

In her capacity as a board member on a number of NPO boards, she also has an in-depth understanding of the running of NPOs and roles and responsibilities of trustees.

Jill is also a board member of The UK Fund For Charities.

Jill is in regular demand as a speaker throughout Southern Africa.
